Evidence and accuracy
Analysis should rest on evidence readers can examine. Ramdiet prioritises original documents, reliable data and verifiable reporting, with citations placed alongside the claims they support.
Sources are assessed in context. Official statements are attributed, contested allegations are distinguished from established facts, and corroboration is sought where possible. Figures should identify the relevant period and explain definitions that affect their meaning.
Facts, interpretation and policy proposals are clearly distinguished. Forecasts are presented as forecasts, historical evidence is dated, and uncertainty is acknowledged where the available information does not support a firm conclusion.
Rigorous and fair analysis
An article should help readers understand how and why something matters. It should explain the reasoning behind its assessment, engage fairly with credible alternative views and consider practical constraints and trade-offs.
Arguments are open to challenge. Where relevant, articles identify evidence or developments that could change their conclusions. Criticism should address policies, decisions and conduct with precision and respect for the people affected.
Independence and transparency
Ramdiet is an independent publication founded and edited by Gatluak Ramdiet. Its analysis reflects the judgement of its authors. Professional memberships and institutional affiliations provide biographical context and do not imply endorsement of the publication or its views.
Relevant personal, professional, financial or political interests should be disclosed alongside the work. Sponsored content and externally funded research must identify their support clearly. Editorial conclusions remain the responsibility of the author and editor.
Authorship and the use of AI
Gatluak Ramdiet is responsible for the publication’s editorial decisions and work published under his name. AI tools assist with research organisation, drafting and editing; responsibility for accuracy, sourcing and judgement remains with the editor.
AI-generated material is not treated as evidence. Quotations and factual claims require verification against their sources. Interviews, personal observations and private conversations must be represented accurately, and public-source analysis must be distinguished from original reporting.
Corrections and updates
Material errors should be corrected promptly and transparently. A substantive correction will carry a dated note explaining what was wrong and what changed. Significant additions prompted by new developments will be marked as updates, with the original publication date retained.
Minor spelling, grammar and formatting repairs may be made without a separate notice.
To report a possible error, send the article title or link, the relevant passage and any supporting evidence to ramdietssd@gmail.com. Substantive responses and challenges to an article’s reasoning are also welcome.
Quality before frequency
A regular publishing schedule serves readers only when the work adds value. Accuracy and analytical substance take priority over speed, length or volume. Each article should leave readers with a clearer understanding of the question it examines.
